ALIONA MUNTEANU

Aliona is a versatile actress with roots in Romania, Bessarabia, and Canada. She honed her craft at the prestigious Ion Luca Caragiale UNATC Theater and Film University in Bucharest, complemented by a master’s degree in dramatic art pedagogy from Montreal. Aliona’s talent shines brightly both on screen and stage, earning acclaim for her compelling performances. She was nominated for Best Actress at the Gopo Awards in Romania and secured the title at the Trebas Film Festival in Montreal.

Beyond acting, Aliona is a multifaceted artist with interests in singing, dancing, poetry, and puppetry, all steeped in Romanian traditions. Since settling in Canada in 2007, she has continued her artistic journey while teaching dramatic art and actively participating in Romanian cultural events.
